For Students

Straylight Australia presents twenty of Shakespeare's wickedest women, from twelve plays, in just sixty minutes! Thrilling scenes full of danger and passion are introduced with witty charm by the Bard himself.

The Play

The play is suitable for students in the last three years of secondary education.  To support school visits to the show, an education pack is available and can be downloaded from this site.

The Workshops

Straylight Australia offers two-hour Shakespeare acting workshops for senior secondary students with trained actor and teacher, Alexander Jonas. Alexander has considerable experience in conducting a range of interactive, fun workshops which are designed to help students obtain a higher level of appreciation and understanding of Shakespeare. More information on the Workshops, including how to make a booking, is available from Straylight Australia.

Workshops are also available for drama students and actors.  These are run by director Greg de Polnay whose long association with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London ensures an unparalleled learning experience with immediate benefits to the participants' confidence and skill in acting Shakespeare.

Workshops are offered in conjunction with the show and are only available during the production's run. Please check the home page for details of current and upcoming seasons. Or contact Straylight Australia
